The general aim of the Engineering and Biotechnology Research Group (ENGIBIO) is the development of biotechnological processes that have a high level of applicability and the results of which can be rapidly transferred to industry. Contemporary chemical engineering is the starting point of the projects ENGIBIO carries out.
Its work is divided into five lines of research:
- Food technology
- Biopolymerisation
- Bioprocesses
- Tanning
- Chemistry teaching
