To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus programme, Erasmus + has made a video in which students, teachers and coordinators from around the world who participated in this mobility programme talk about their experiences. Founded in 1987, the Erasmus programme provides university students with an opportunity to complete their higher education in other European Union countries.

The video captures the experiences of a Vietnamese student in Portugal, of the coordinator of a joint Erasmus Mundus programme in Belgium and of various Portuguese and Polish teachers who have returned from Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, respectively. Europeans and non-Europeans describe their experiences and give us an idea of the opportunities that these mobility and international cooperation projects provide. In the case of the UPC, over a thousand students participate in stays abroad every academic year. The most common destinations are universities in France, Italy and Germany.

In the last ten years, almost 9,500 UPC students have participated in this mobility programme and about 7,500 students from other European countries have stayed at the UPC in the framework of the programme.
